I have calculated for my dog, Emma, the amount of times I have done things with her and for her. I am basing this on my oldest dog, Emma, who is 13 1/2. My apologies to the other two, you’ll be featured in another missive, I’m sure.Let Emma in and out (a modest estimate of four times a day)– 80,136 times.
Feeding her – 4,927 times.
Patting her/scratching behind her ears – (a very modest 15x a day) 75,127 times.
Hugging her – (again, a very modest 3x a day) 15,025 times.
Refilling/cleaning water bowl – 3x a day, 15,025 times.
