In the rescue world, we have what are called Shelter Walkers, they walk the shelters on a daily basis to take pictures and write bios of the dogs/cats. Then they put in hours posting them to rescue groups on the internet, in hopes of saving just one. Their work is tireless and for the most part no one knows what it really takes to do such a job.
