This is Riptide, Sara & Tempest frolicking last weekend. Two pink tongues, and a pink ball. With 70-degree weather and clear skies expected this weekend, I think we'll see more of this silliness the next couple of days.
Seemed smaller and slighter (lower camera placement makes it look much larger than it was), but it's my best guess. It was definitely timid and not a fan of the shutter noise.Update: Mystery solved. An intelligent A Dog's Beach reader notes this beautiful pup is a Borzoi (or Russian Wolfhound).
Again, what do you do with a so-so pic of an adorable pup? Time to play with effects again. I plan to take many more shots this weekend (can you tell work life is a bit hectic?), so I should be back to more realistic shots of our friends next week.
What do you do when the light and focus isn't quite right, and you can't seem to improve upon it? Posterize (Picnik effect) that sucker. ;)
