Pet Products Review - Pestell Clear Choice Low Track Silica Crystals Cat Litter
Are you one of those cat owners that seems to always be vacuuming up litter? It can drive you crazy. There are options to prevent tracking and keep a cleaner, dust free home. One of my recommendations is Pestell Clear Choice Silica Crystal Cat Litter. Clear Choice™ Silica Crystal granule act like tiny sponges, quickly absorbing and trapping odor-causing particles. The unique shape of the crystals greatly reduces tracking and helps keep your cat's litter area clean. This cat litter does not generate any annoying dust like traditional litters.

Each 4 lb bag of litter controls moisture and odor for one full month. There are Indicator Crystals™ that will fade in color after a few exposures to moisture. When all the Indicator Crystals™ are faded, it's time to replace the litter; it's that simple!
A great site to purchase this product is Cat-alog.com go directly to: http://www.cat-alog.com/cat_litter.html for Pestell Clear Choice.

Pets Product Review - Cosmic Cat Cardboard Cat Scratch Post/Box
If you value how your house looks and the furniture and rugs you buy to make your home more comfortable and aesthetic, than you know how infuriating it can be when your cat scratches. Its terrible. But can you really blame your cat? He needs to scratch to shed the dead outer sheath of their claws, which grow constantly like our fingernails. These old shreds of claws feel irritating to cats' paws and cover sharp new claws. The rough texture of most upholstery and of some wood is very effective for this shedding and shredding. And it feels good to the cat!

Well, its nearly impossible to train a cat not to scratch, but you can teach him what to scratch. I recommend having a few simple and inexpensive cardboard cat scratch boxes around your house. One of the best and most available is the Cosmic Cat Cardboard Scratch box. Cardboard has long been recommended as an economical scratcher that trains the cat away from rugs and furniture. Corrugated cardboard has the feel of nature for the cat. It has holes to allow the cat to sink his claws into the scratcher (instead of the furniture) to clean his claws. Since most people do not have corrugated cardboard lying around the house, it quickly becomes the scratching spot. What makes Cosmic Cat so different is that it comes with a bag of tastey cat nip that attracts the cat to the cardboard.
Go to www.strictlypetsupplies.com has an excellent selection of cat scratching posts and the Cosmic Cat Scratch Post for only $6.99.

Pet Products Review - Pounce Cat Treats
Are you always searching for that treat, toy or gadget that will help get more attention from your kittie? I am. I would love to spoil my cat Stinky with treats galore, if he only wasn't so supercilious to every thing I give him.
When I saw Pounce Cat Treats in my local supermarket, I thought "why not? It's only $1.49, let's try it". Knowing that Pounce is made by Del Monte Pet Products, I thought they surely must know what cats like. Well....they sure didn't have Stinky as a taste test panelist. Stinky took one finicky sniff and walked away.

Why are cats so finicky with food and treats. No one knows for sure, but their sense of smell is incredible. I read that a cat has a smell and taste capabilities that are far superior to we humans. Their olfactory organ allows them to actually taste something just by smelling it. This protects the cat from bad chemicals, spoiled food and helps them identify their kittens.

Now, I have another theory why Stinky my cat is so finicky towards Pounce Cat Treats. I figure it is because Pounce tastes like Play-Doh. Yes, I tasted one of the precious heart shaped morsels. Yes, it tasted like Play-Doh with essense of bland chicken. Champ my dog liked Pounce Cat Treats. In fact I am training him to be ambidextrous and shake with his right paw, not just his left.
If you'd like to try Pounce Cat Treats, nearly every supermarket carries the product. The price is affordable, so do try it. If you're looking for endless, imaginative fun check out www.play-doh.com.

Pet Products Review - 3M Scotch Pet Hair Rollers
Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it; My hair
That's the chorus from the musical Hair. Now, imagine that chorus screaming in your head, ‘cause your pets have left hair everywhere. It's inescapable! Truly maddening!
I have a Shetland sheepdog, yeah tons of hair, but my cat is even worse. Well, the people over at 3M must have hairy pets too because they developed a whole line of products that simply make my life easier. The Scotch Pet Rollers are amazing. They are not like those old lint rollers your mom used to use. These should be called high tech fabu-rollers. The sheets, which happen to have cute little dogs and cats printed on them, pick up hair for in incredible amounts, and leave nothing behind. The sheets work so well that you actually use fewer sheets.

The handle is designed with ergonomics, so you can pick up even the heaviest pet hair from just about everywhere. And the grip is thick so can really hold on.
The Scotch Pet Rollers can be found just about everywhere. Look for them at your local CVS, Rite-Aid or grocery store.
