With 24,950 claimants the amount of compensation awarded is not fair. Say the lawyer's fees takes 1/3, then 2/3rds of the balance leaves less than $650 person. I don't even think this amount covers cremation. I don't know of ANYONE's vet bills related to this being this low. Mine are in the thousands. Anyone who has ever had to take their pet to the vet to get basic tests such as Xrays/Ultrasounds/Blood tests etc know that $650 gets eaten up so fast. Now consider what's involved in diagnosing and treating kidney failure especially when vets weren't even aware of the contamination and you get staggering bills.

Well all that money is sitting in a bank, building interest what 24,000,000 dollars, your looking at big interest. Wheres that go? Let me guess the lawyers get the interest as well. Isn't that kind of steep? The lawyers get 1/3 of the settlement? and 25,000 people get short changed. Thats Politics.
