    Betsy reads Beau Tricky Dog. A friend gave me Beef Casserole for the Dogs Soul gave it to me for Beau says Betsy.

    I thought it was a bit silly at first, but then I realized I talk to Beau all the time so reading to him is not that big a leap.

    Beau is getting old now, hes 15, so he spends a lot of time resting. Reading to him is a really nice way for us to be together. In the old days wed be out and about but now we like reading indoors, especially on rainy days.

    Wouldnt it be great to meet a big bunch of gorgeous dogs all at once, be smiled at en masse, get your face licked, be hi-pawed and waist-squeezed and hugged?

    Thats how it was at the Alaskan Malamute Club UK Rescue Fun Day on Saturday 30.03.13 at Strathclyde Country Park, Scotland. Woo-Woo! What a good time!

    Donald and Dougal are a fantastic duo whore very fun to be around.

    They live on a croft in Stornaway, Isle of Lewis and spend some time in the big city Glasgow, Scotland.

    Dougal is 3 years old; a gorgeous and sweet and smart Lhasa Apso.

    Usually what happens is you go to a breeder or the Pound of an animal rescue organization and there is your dog. But another way you can end up with a dog is when you get adopted by a stray.

    Before animal rescue groups were formed to help stray, lost dogs and cats find food and shelter and forever homes I guess this was the way homeless dogs and people found one another.
