My Cats Cooperate ... Sort-of

When I had the idea for this photo, I thought there was no way my cats would line up in boxes. Silly me, boxes are cat magnets and a little sprinkle or catnip doesn't hurt. But I suppose I was dreaming when I thought they'd line up in ascending order. I guess with cats, you take what you can get, right? My Geeky Cats' Screen Test

Cosmo and Phoebe want to be right on top of us us all the time. Saffy? She'd just rather chill in her basket and watch her eyelids. Our cats aren't allowed outside, so you can imagine their displeasure when they see us sitting on the deck, but can't get to us. Look at them, giving us their best desperate, "Let me out or we will certainly perish" looks. I'm a total 80's girl so I love me some John Hughes. This pic reminds me of that scene in SixteenCandles when parents are trying to drop...My Cats Work the Border Patrol

The other day I came home, walked up the stairs and saw this. Saffy and Cosmo obviously wanted to know where I'd been and what I'd been doing. Holy border patrol, Batman! Is Your Cat a Pawla Deen?

Today, we are flashing back to a Friday Fanglish cat slang favorite. Do you have a Pawla Deen? I do -- and her name is Saffy. Pawla Deen A cat who jumps on the counter to lick a stick of butter. Maurice was glad The Lady made pancakes this morning because, when she wasn't looking, he could be a totalPawla Deen. No matter what time I feed my cats, in their eyes I'm always late. Even though I'm not. It's always food o'clock and my watch is perpetually slow. I think I heard rumblings from them about wanting to buy me a new watch battery. Ha -- the joke's on them because I don't even wear a watch.Wordless Wednesday: Feelin' Nipsy

I just ran across this old Catladyland funny. This was one of my first projects when I was learning Photoshop, so it's not all that great, but it makes me laugh every time I see it. I especially enjoy Saffy's Jan Brady look. And Cosmo had to play all the guys. I wish there were a Sam the Butcher block (Butcher block -- get it??). He'd look awesome in an apron. Yeah, I'm a total old-sitcom nerd.Sneaky Cat Not So Sneaky

As I shared yesterday, Saffy is really the piggy in the family. She wolfs her own chow and then goes after everyone else's. I did, however, bust one certain tuxie individual with his snout in Phoebe's food. This time Cosmo can't deny it. Thanks to the magical 6-seconds of auto-edited wonder that is Vine, I captured it all. And watch how he sulks away. So busted.
