Funnyman Ricky Gervais couldn't resist giving this lucky four-legged fan a hug when he took a break between takes on his upcoming comedy, Cemetery Junction. Although he shares his home with a feline friend, the comedian is also a friend to Fidos. Not only did he help to bring Elsa, his neighbor's lost Staffordshire Bull Terrier, back home in 2007 by raising the reward money to £1,000, in the spring of 2009 the comic continued to show his concern for canines by taking on the role of judge at a pet show held in support of The Mayhew Animal Home, where he chose the top dog in the "Handsomest Male" category.
