Looking "smart" with her purple leash, Amy Smart's darling dog Daisy was color-coordinated with her movie star Momma during a stroll down the street. The actress is also the proud parent of a Wheaten Terrier named Oscar.

An avid animal lover, the star of Just Friends and The Butterfly Effect often makes appearances at such fund-raisers for our four-pawed pals as the Super Pet Adoption Festival, sponsored by Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and Much Love Animal Rescue's Bow Wow Wow event.

Having acted as the ring bearer at their wedding, lovable Hemingway has long felt like the top dog in the lives of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. However, the addition of a precocious pup named Rigby and the impending arrival of the couple's bundle of joy Bronx Mowgli brought out petulant tendencies in the parents-to-be's pet, prompting a call to The Dog Whisperer.

Marking the start of National Geographic Channel's annual Dog Whisperer Week, Cesar Millan teaches the Tinseltown twosome how to curb their bulldog's boisterous behavior in an episode titled "The Dog Whisperer: Cricket and Hemingway and Rigby," which airs December 28, 2008 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

From the smile on her face, it's plain to see that Mariah Carey has all she wants this Christmas-- the love of her new husband, actor Nick Cannon, and the devotion of her beloved dog, Jack. Looking like a snow angel, the multi-Grammy Award winner stepped away from the slopes of Aspen to enjoy a Christmas Day shopping spree as the man in her life kept her fur baby's feet away from the frosty ground.

The Kennedy clan enjoyed the days of Camelot with a number of four-pawed pals, including Clipper the German Shepherd, Shannon the Irish Cocker Spaniel, Wolf the Irish Wolfhound, a Welsh Terrier named Charlie and a pretty pooch called Pushinka, who was a present from Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev. A canine couple, Charlie and Pushinka's romance added a passel of puppies-- White Tip, Streaker, Blackie and Butterfly-- to the President's pack.

In the following photo from 1962, John F. Kennedy and Jacquelyn Kennedy celebrate the season around the Christmas tree with their children Caroline and John Jr., the former First Lady's sister Lee Radziwill, her husband Prince Stanislaus Radziwill and their children Anthony and Ann Christine and two of their furry friends.

From everyone at Dogtipper.com, happy holidays!

Camille Guaty may have ruled the small screen with her appearances in Prison Break, Las Vegas and The Nine, but if his name is any indication, the TV star's canine companion "Boss" is head honcho off screen. The actress, who will soon be seen in the series Cupid, enjoyed an evening out with her four-pawed pal recently at the New York premiere of Marley & Me at the Tribeca Cinema Gallery.
