There was no need for actress Famke Janssen to ask for a doggie bag during her recent repast at Bar Pitti in New York City, since her dining companion was none other than her fur baby, Licorice! The silver screen beauty and the brindle Boston Terrier enjoyed watching the world go by at one of the West Village eatery's outdoor tables.

Although he was recently eliminated on the reality competition Dancing On Ice, British soap star Jeremy Edwards will still get plenty of exercise thanks to his darling dog, Molly. Unleashed in theaters on January 16th, both the young and the young at heart will enjoy checking out the canines checking in to Hotel For Dogs, a family-friendly flick that lets a number of scene-stealing pooches show off their acting chops. Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin, the movie's teen leads, share the screen not only with a Jack Russell Terrier who plays Friday, the kids' four-footed family member, but also 70 other talented tail-waggers, including Cooper the English Bulldog, Georgia the Boston Terrier, Shep the Border Collie and doggie duo Romeo (a Chinese Crested) and Juliet (a poodle).
For little ones who fall for the "fetch"ing canine cast, FAO Schwartz has released a passel of plush puppy toys based on the characters of the Lois Duncan children's book.

Having already been marked down twice, actress Rose McGowan's heart went out to the little Boston Terrier whose time was running out as she looked pleadingly at the star through the bars of a pet store cage. Years later, Rose McGowan is still Charmed daily by the antics of Bug, her lovable Boston Terrier, who recently accompanied the cinematic siren on a flight out of LAX.
Sadly, the co-host of TCM's The Essentials is mourning the loss of her other canine companion, Fester. A black and white Boston Terrier like Bug, the adorable dog crossed the rainbow bridge in the fall of 2008 after 11 happy years with his movie star Mamma.
