John Leguizamo may have brought the animated antics of Sid the sloth to life in the Ice Age movies, but there was nothing sluggish about the star's recent stroll with his dog Cholo (the same name as Leguizamo's character in the 2005 fright flick Land of The Dead,) whose padded paws promenaded with a sense of purpose on the pavement in New York's West Village.

Christian Serratos, who portrays Angela Weber in the Twilight saga, turned 19 on September 21st, and no doubt her passel of pooches were on hand to help the birthday girl celebrate. The actress shares her home with four black toy poodles who answer to the names Uffi, Gorilla, Johnny Cash and Gigi (who is seen in the following photos) as well as a West Highland white terrier called Bolt, who kept the star company during her stay in Vancouver as cameras rolled on Eclipse.
A famous face with compassion for canines, the actress has made good on her New Year's goal to come to the aid of animals in need, which she posted on her MySpace page. Serratos recently auctioned off a silver, Swarovski crystal and freshwater pearl rosary in order to help with the expenses of a brutally mutilated boxer mix dubbed Dahlia who has been taken in by All the Same Wild and Tame animal sanctuary.

Receiving a regal welcome by the press, lovable Labradoodle Milly Kakao-- the four-month-old, four-footed addition to Norway's royal family-- lapped up the limelight while posing for posterity with her new human parents Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and their children Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus and Marius. The cuddly canine will follow in the pawprints of Troll, the poodle whose likeness will forever loyally stand next to its master King Olaf V on a statue at the Holmenkollen ski area in Oslo. 
Actress Ellen Pompeo, best known to TV buffs as Dr. Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy, was spotted with one of her McCutie canines at the airport recently. Choosing movie-influenced monikers for her two mini poodles, the Mom-to-be is the proud parent of "Gigi" (seen in the photos below) and "Valentino."
He may know what the weather will be like around the nation, but the Today show's Al Roker could not predict the winner the the 133rd annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. The weatherman had the opportunity to promenade with one of the Standard Poodles vying for top prize in the Non-Sporting category, an honor which was awarded to Yes, a black Standard Poodle.
