I know I'm a little behind the times. I only just now watched Downton Abbey. Both the first and second season and I'm hooked. I love watching period pieces from this era. I can imagine my grandfather living during these times and get a sense of what his life was like. One of the cool things I see on this show is a type of bus called a Charabanc. It's been featured a few times - not sure if it's a real Charabanc or a reproduction made specifically for the show, but either way I wanted to share...Camera Awesome!

For the first time in my life I headed out of the country without ANY cameras. I like to take my "real" cameras with me when I travel, my Nikons, with various lenses. At the very least, my Panasonic point and shoot. I thought I would regret it. But recently I went away and only took with me my iPhone 4. I never really used it as a phone as it gets ridiculously expensive (instead I bought a cheap pay as you go phone - which is much better!) but I did use the camera. The new iPhone has an 8mp...

On a recent trip to England I took a flight with Virgin Atlantic from Las Vegas to Manchester and then once I landed I jumped on a Virgin train to Shropshire. I have to say I noticed a distinct lack in quality and service on this flight/route compared to the more popular route of Los Angeles to London. Below are a few more photos, one is a typical English railway station and a few shots taken out of the window of the plane - in the first, you can just see another flight going in the opposite...Happy Easter
