I know it seems as though I've been egnoring everyone-but I haven't. Mom's been busy with this job search/research/talking on the phone thing....and then yesterday she had a terrible time with her headaches and barely got out of bed - but here I am blurry pictures and all
First - I got a package from Mason Dixie for winning the WIGGLE WALK - there were these yummy treats in it - and a very nice note - sadly mom and the camera didn't cooperate so well - but belive me they are terrific - and a BIG thanks to Mason Dixie for the treats!
On Friday I got a big box of goodies from my love Suzuki - look at all those stamps from OZ
There were 3 shirts in the box - Suzi know how much I like to be dapper
There were snacks and toys
and one of those ropse that I love to play with
I'm looking at my box now!!!!
and a beer can...hehe

I got groomed on Friday - mom will try to get some photos but she's just not up to snuff and I'm not cooperating so much either -
Mom and Dad are going to Seattle on June 8 for an "opportunity" - this is the new job thing they are looking at - apparently I'm not going to be able to go - but I get to stay with my beloved Susanne - who has 4 dogs that play with me a lot - so I hope I don't miss them too much....I want to go too but mom says they will be very busy and I would have to be in the hotel room too much so she thinks I will be happier at Susanne's -
Today's TRUE COLOUR is Cobalt Blue - this was a snap for mom - you see, she grew up in the Mississippi Delta on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi where the world famous Pup and Lee McCarty are from [friends of her mom's] - Pup and Lee create the most wonderful pottery pieces and mom has dozens of them - after all, every gal from the Delta knows how to entertain with style and grace. We've taken pictures of a few pieces - it would take her a week to photograph them all - belive me when I tell you she has tons. Most people buy it in the green or brown - but Mom has always loved the Cobalt so that's what most of her pieces are. She has everything from a sugar bowl to huge serving platters. She drinks Sweet Iced Tea from McCarty Tumblers, cocktails are from McCarty "highballs" - she serves from McCarty Platters and Bowls - well, you get the picture - McCarty is very big in our house. I even have my own McCarty Bowl!
The black mark you see is the McCarty signature of the River running through [that would be the Mississippi River :-) ] Check out Pup and Lee'ss site to get a feel of the Delta - where roots run deep, and history and culture have intertwined to create a place unique to the world.

Yesterday I got to go with Mom and Dad when they went to Target to buy a new coffee pot. Mom put me in the basket and we went through the door NOT on the food side - no one said anything and I rode around like the champ I am - there are no photos as mom didn't want to draw attention to me being there. Mom also got a clock thingy for her Iphone to charge in...then she got home and couldn't figure out how to get it to work - BOL - remember, old, blond, southern!!! BOL - finally she figured out it wouldn't work with the pink cover on it so she took the cover off and it works fine.
Then we went to Pet Smart - look what I got
A chill bone - it's in the freezer now - so I don't know if I like it or not - but it says it's good for my teeth - and mom constantly worries about my teeth! I don't know why I have perfectly fine pearly whites......
I also got this frisbee for the beach - it apparently floats - so, I guess it will go to China when the tide carries it out. Do they not understand that is a BIG dog on the cover - I'm a little dog and I cannot catch this frisbee! Geeeeez....what were they thinking?
Then I got this shirt - I'm so excited that I'm going to the beach - Livy got 2 new bikinis - the kid loves bikinis! We're not going till July so I don't know what the hurry is, but mom likes to plan ahead.....drives daddy nuts...
then we went to Panera Bread for lunch - we ate on the patio - mom put out my little blanket that she carries around for me to sit on in the shopping carts and I just chilled out - mom did give me some of her chicken so I was happy - unfortunatley you can't see my cute little Red, White & Blue outfit - but there are more pics on the camera that we will try to download later - this is stuff from her phone.

Now let me tell you about Dawg Mom Angie - I think some of you know my friends Feather, Darla & Pappy over at KIDS IN DOG SUITS and their Dawg Mom, Angie - well, did you also know that Dawg Mom Angie is quite the artist with stained glass? She created all of these below as trophies for a dog show - now, don't ask my why they have Iris' on them and not dogs, but they're still pretty - Anyway, Angie is now taking orders for custom stained glass work....so you might give her a shout if you need a pretty vase, or a lamp, or a window or whatever - I just bet she can make whatever you want! We've been a little quiet for a couple of days - Livy got out of school on Friday and she and mom have been doing a lot of piddling around - they went to see the movie EARTH, they said it was really pawsome, but they had to hide their eyes a couple of times. When they got home startedplanning our summer vacation at the beach, we're going to Daufuskie Island in South Carolina - and YES, I get to go too!!!!! - so that has taken up a lot of computer time - Then it also looks like mom might have found a job and she's been spending time on that too talking to the man who might hire her and stuff that I don't really understand other than the fact that she is on the phone and not paying attention to little ole me! Here's a couple of photos we took on Friday afternoon - do you like my new custom designed outfit?
