A year ago, the five millionth pet was adopted through the adoption programs hosted by Petsmart. Dodge's dad wrote this week: Dodge and his dad"This Fathers Day, Im grateful to be Dodges dog dad. Hes given so much back to my life--unconditional love, comfort and the right balance of humor and adventure. Id never adopted a pet before Dodge, and I think we both gave each other a second chance." It's not uncommon for dogs to be disturbed by sudden loud noises, such as thunderstorms or fireworks. It can be a challenge to calm your dog's nerves during such events. With summertime holidays approaching, I found this video of a story narrated by Simon Callow to be quite interesting. It was created to help dogs that are reactive to Bonfire Night and the fireworks that ensue.Mother's Day 2013
