Even along the sidewalk I manage to sniff out Grade A varmints. Woof! Snuffle and snort! I may have come from the country, but now that I have been in the city three years my nose is calibrated for cement and other urban landscape.

Can you see my head? I've got it in my "watch the house" position. I'm all soft looking but my radar ears give away my rocket alert watchfulness....like a cat, pounce!
I like the cooler weather and clouds but I think many visitors are surprised. San Francisco in July by the ocean is very different from Los Angeles...a fun bonus is this week you can watch pelican fish near the Golden Gate Bridge!
After spending a day in the hotter climate across the bay and through the tunnel, I am liking the cool sand under my toes today....
