When I was researching the Coton de Tulear, I read this :
"The Coton is devoted to its owner, and he will love you and your family as much or even more than you love him. "
"Cotons love to be with their owners at all times, they do not expect your attention constantly and are happy to sleep if you are busy just as long as they are near you. "
Bebe sits and waits patiently every night when it's my daughters bath time... Yes ! the coton de tulear is absolutely devoted to it's owners and loves nothing more than to simply be near you.

Love the photos of Bebe waiting outside the bathroom door. Our Molly Girl, also a Coton, loves to be with us as well. Cotons will follow you around and make sure you are in eye sight or better yet available with a lap or shoes to lay on or across. This breed is very affectionate, loveable, and loyal, but also very docile. They are so willing to make friends whether human or other dogs or cats.
Bebe and Molly could pass for sisters in looks and devotion. Very sweet animals!

Even though I wanted the coton, he is very very attached to my husband. I think it is because he walks and plays with him a lot. He follows my husband all day long except he likes to sleep with his sister (a teenaged girl). He's very quiet early in the morning and is a great napper and sleeper. We love him to death.
