Be a Pet Blogger and Be the Change

I had a mission when I decided to be a pet blogger. I wanted to highlight pet welfare issues, pets looking for homes, and wanted to be a source of information for people looking for pet products. I expanded a little to make room for human products. I care about the environment and about the products we use everyday. I like products that are eco-friendly and organic, so I incorporated all of those things that I care about to bring you Doggies and Stuff.

I was lucky enough to attend the first ever pet bloggers conference in Columbus, Ohio back in April: BlogPaws. I met a lot of people that care about animals as much as I do. BlogPaws is an online resource for pet bloggers to help you be a better blogger, whatever "being a better blogger" means to YOU. So whether you are blogging for fun, to raise money or on behalf of a company or organization, BlogPaws is your go-to place. So, if you are thinking about being a pet blogger be sure to visit BlogPaws. in fact, BlogPaws is hosting another conference on September 9-11, 2010. If you are thinking about being a pet blogger then this is the place for you! I have my paws crossed that I will be able to attend with the help from a sponsor. Registration is open.

Everyone who attended BlogPaws pledged to "Be the Change" for shelter animals everywhere. So, we band together to help raise funds for shelters all over the country, and will continue to do so.
