Fans of toe-tapping tunes and our tail-wagging chums have a song in their heart today, as the line-up of animal-loving luminaries who will perform at the second annual Woofstock at Fontanel concert has been announced.
Taking place at Fontanel Mansion, the fundraiser will benefit Bonapartes Retreat. Established by multi-Grammy Award winner Emmylou Harris, the rescue finds forever homes for dogs from Metro Nashville Animal Control who are in danger of euthanization.

Years have passed since the day when I first met my puppy love, but the memory has made an indelible impression on my heart. Bounding up to the front of his cage the moment I stepped into the dog adoption area at my local shelter, the German Shepherd mix who would soon be known as Pepsi greeted me with an enthusiastic thump, thump, thump of his tail which seemed to telegraph the message, Ive been waiting for you!
