Things have been a bit quiet around here on DogTipper.com the past few days while weve been at BlogPaws, the annual pet bloggers conference. Thanks to Nutros sponsorship of Paris, we were able to attend this years conference on the outskirts of Washington, DC. This marked the fifth BlogPaws and was the largest to date.

This cute little guy is Charlie, a baby Cairn Terrier/Schnauzer mix who is ready to find his forever home. Currently, Charlie is in foster care under the supervision of **Furever Angels of Charlotte in Monroe, NC. He is about 8 weeks old and is a sweet, loveable puppy.
When adopted, Charlie will be neutered and up to date on his puppy shots. He will be so much fun for the lucky family who adopts him!

Comedy Hall of Fame inductee/multi-pet parent Paula Poundstone will help to set the stage for a brighter future for homeless pets by taking the stage at Riverside Municipal Auditorium this fall at The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Centers 16th annual Comedy Night.
The spirit-raising jest fest will raise funds for the non-profit organization, which finds forever homes for healthy, adoptable dogs and cats who have been surrendered by their guardians or pulled from area animal shelters.

Daytona Cubs To Host Second Dog Day of the Season

At the secondDog Day of the 2013 season, fans of the Daytona Cubs and their canine companions can cheer for the home team as they raise funds for dogs in need of forever homes.
On June 21st the Cubs will face the Dunedin Blue Jays, with proceeds from the $2 dog tickets benefiting Greyhound Pets of America, a non-profit which has helped 80,000 former racing greyhounds become members of loving families since its founding in 1987.
