Pepper the cheerleader!
Pepper is ready to cheer! Her mom says, “This cute little girl was discovered at the Mountain Home, Arkansas Humane Society Shelter. She has become even sweeter than she is cute, if you can believe that’s possible!”

Are you ready for some football??

Maverick, Adoptable in South Bend, IN
Isn’t Maverick a cutie? This little boy, about eight months old, has had a tough start in life and is really deserving of a forever home so please share him with your friends on social media! According to his Petfinder page, “Maverick is a wonderful little pup who has had a rough time in his short life. He was seized from a domestic abuse situation after he was beaten so badly, he suffered severe head trauma and a punctured lung and ended up in the emergency vet’s office. Maverick made a remarkable recovery only to find himself in a crowded shelter and scheduled to be euthanized. I absolutely could not stand the thought of Maverick leaving this earth only knowing pain and suffering at the hands of humans. He deserves to know what is like to be loved and to feel the gentle touch of a caring owner. He deserves to go for rides in the car, play fetch with a ball, swim in a lake and nap in the sun; all the things that dogs love to do but he hasn’t had the chance to do. Maverick absolutely loves people but he can be a little too aggressive with other dogs so he will need a slow introduction and monitoring until he learns how to play in a not-so-rough manner. Maverick is a smart, energetic boy with lots of potential; he just needs to right home to guide him. With the proper training and care, Maverick will thrive and become an exceptional companion; lots of love and patience is the key to help Maverick overcome his traumatic past and have a happy and bright future.”
