After running off at a rest stop in Montana back in August, Buck, the Golden Retriever was just miraculously reunited with his family in Washington state after surviving a brutal winter on his own, hundreds of miles from home. His family traveled over 750 miles to retrieve their retriever. Lucky Bucky!
For more retro film fun, check out "The Glass Bottom Boat" starring Doris Day. It's a spoof of campy spy flicks of the 1960's. The dog portraying the role of "Vladimir," suspected of being a secret agent by funnyman, Paul Lynde, closely resembles one of Day's own dogs named "Biggest" which a helpful reader informs us, joined her pooch pack in the early '70's.
