The dog daddy at our house likes to bake. I love this, however my thighs are not so thrilled. For Mother's Day, he and the critters presented me with a lovely bouquet of tulips, a fanastic dinner (bacon wrapped filet mignon, fancy baked potatoes, fresh asparagus, great wine and this cake. We just might finally have a water dog again! We got our first doggie swimming pool many years ago on the farm. Sherman and Spanky were thrilled. The pool had colorful fishies printed all over the bottom and Spanky loved to stick his head under the water and chomp at them to try and "catch" them. Baby Girl is a spayed female Pit bull Terrier mixed breed dog. Animal Shelter staff at the Humane Society of Missouri think she's about 2 1/2 years old. While looking for a video for Dog Song Saturday tomorrow, I stumbled on this amazing dog lover video. It touched my heart and I couldn't help but think about my best friends when I've boarded them.
