We headed up early as usual so that Beanie and Biggles could get their private races while it was nice and quiet. Unfortunately Beanie’s favorite lure-meister Scooby wasn’t there. It’s been a busy week, so I’ll do a quick recap.
We were spoilt for choice on Sunday - Beagle Racing, Flyball AND Lure Coursing. We eventually decided to pop in and watch the lure coursing with a view to taking part at next month’s meeting. It looked fabulous - acres of securely fenced fields overlooking [...]
Another lovely day yesterday so we took Beanie and Biggles down to Ayrshire for a nice walk along the Ayr Gorge, then lunch in the dog friendly Failford Inn afterwards. They had a lovely time, and met a new pal…

Sunday’s Beagle Racing was filled with highs and lows. The “lows” came in the racing itself. Just as Beanie was starting to regain her confidence after a series of unfinished races due to jostling and intereference from other dogs earlier in the season, she had another set back.
