blah blah blah. you know the rest.

Things have been pretty quiet around here.. mostly because I got the plague.. yup H1N1 I think and then, just for fun..Bronchitis. Im on week 4 now and Im still coughing. I know Im all try the natural approach first but breathing in steam, drinking tea with honey and lemon, chest and back rubs with eucalyptus and rosemary just havent done the trick. So, mucinex it is good stuff that.

I just spent the day in NYC yesterday, in spite of the creeping crud that...

    Poor Qay..

It happened again. She is always the one getting charged by someones dog. Sheesh.

This time, it was a tiny white dog. We were walking this morning and across the street I see this dog RUNNING like her little tiny white butt was on fire. And behind her, a woman calling her name and running.

Well this little dog saw Qay and BOLTED over to say hello.

Qay thinks this is rude. Fortunatley, I had a good handle on her and sat her down. (and she sat! I was so proud). Meanwhile, this little...

    They never forget.

This morning I was walking Qay and across the street was a woman with her dog. My neighbor. Not a big deal.

Except once this dog charged at Qay. The owner opened her car door, not realizing we were on the block for a walk and the door BOLTED down the street and got right in Qays face.

    Not cool.

The woman was astounded and said Im so sorry! I didnt see you! I thought shed just run to the door of the house.

Ok fine. Mistakes happen. But Qay has never forgotten. And she does not...

    Or lately, the day!

We have had a run of thunderstorms.. big time. Every day for the past 3 days at 4PM like clockwork BOOM!

Im so relieved that my dogs are not afraid of thunder or noises. I cannot imagine what the last few days must have been like.

This week reminded me of a conversation I had last year with a Canine Chiropractor Friend of mine. She told me about Through a Dogs Ear Evidently this is music that has been engineered to be calming to dogs.

I was intrigued, so last year I emailed...
