Art Galleries Are SO Boring

Our puppy class went to the Vancouver Art Gallery on Tuesday. What a boring place. You have to be quiet and there's no food anywhere. I didn't even get to say hi to any of the other puppies before we went in. Everyone in the gallery is very quiet. The loudest sound was the clicking of doggie nails on the hard wood floors. Madison was going to take some pictures but there was a guard in every corner of every room to make sure no one took any photos. I think it has to do with cameras damaging...Spring Has Sprung

Cherry trees have blossomed here. Some streets are covered by white or pick petals that the wind blew off the trees. Madison's nose is running because she has allergies. It's bad because there are cherry trees all over Vancouver. I had kennel cough in April. We basically stayed home for two weeks because I was coughing. I couldn't go to the dog park because it's very contagious. Last Saturday was the PADS Mother's Day Brunch. Madison and I were at the Lucky Bone pick up table. Milk bones with...Avocados Are Bad

At puppy class this week, Madison and I found out that a young hearing dog named Maple died suddenly from eating avocado. It seems that it's really toxic for a dog to eat any part of the fruit or plant. There are lots of human foods that can cause illness or death in canines. Let me start off by saying I am really tired. Madison and I spent most of last weekend volunteering at the Stargate Convention. Most of the time we were seated next to the registration table checking people's wristbands as they entered the convention. We also got to make grocery runs with another volunteer. On the last day we made a Starbucks run. Lots of people wanted to pet me and most times Madison said yes. Her basic rule is that if they ask and it's not busy then she says yes. If they...Catching Up -- Again

Madison's been on an anti-computer kick and still hasn't given me the password to the computer. We've been doing the usual training things. We went to CTV to get a "one year to go" pin in February. Madison doesn't want to see the Olympics but she likes the pins. They're going to release another one tomorrow so I guess we'll be going to get one. March 2 was my first Barkday. I got lots of goodies. I've almost chewed my new chew rope to pieces. Good thing I also got a new nyla bone. Madison...Good News About Beta

Madison was able to talk to the woman who adopted Beta yesterday. She also adopted Beta's brother Dyno. They now live in Nova Scotia on a 20 acre property. They also have new friend, another Foxie named Enzo. Beta's new mom said that Beta and Dyno don't get along but Beta has bonded with Enzo. If the two of them are put in a kennel together Beta doesn't have separation anxiety. Madison was really happy to hear that. Beta's new mom said she bought Beta a whole bunch of coats to keep her warm....
