Seriously. I'd hoped that just writing about other things would help my mind remember more DiDi stories other than when we had her put to sleep (which I'm still not ready to write about yet), but I've noticed when things like NaNoWriMo or Scout summer camp or ten years of marriage with my wife aren't there to bail me out, I really have nothing to say. As made evident by the lack of comments for several straight entries, which usually translates into "no one's reading this, chump;" it's pointless to write a blog just for yourself to read.

So, I was going to write a farewell-to-blogging message this weekend and let the thing lay fallow until I figured out what to do with it. And then, what do I find on the last post but comments from:

* A new Google follower, from New Zealand. Welcome Maryanne/Shadean! I haven't had a chance to dig into your blogs yet but will. "Writing on the Wall" (http://shadeans-shortstories.blogspot.com/) looks particularly fascinating. I admire anybody with the gumption to put short stories on a blog for all to see. Once I read yours, maybe I'll give it a shot. I'll take all the muses I can get. :-)

* An invitation to become part of the DogTime Blog Network. Never heard of it, and this blog hasn't had a ton of dog entries lately, but it's free, so... what the heck? By the way, if you're new to this blog and want to read some actual dog entries, click the April through June entries on the right and you'll find plenty.

These two happenings apparently are a sign from somewhere that I should keep doing this. So I will. Hopefully with something to write about soon...
