Well, perhaps not a solution but it sure will help! I just discovered Swagbucks yesterday and I am already excited about it. I'm not one to participate in any of these online money making gimmicks - I have better things to do with my time than click on ads or fill out surveys. Swagbucks caught my attention because you earn random credits by using their search engine, which provides results from Google and Ask. Considering how many times a day I use Google to search the web, it seemed like a great idea to see if I can earn some credits while doing so.

I just joined yesterday, and already I have 10 Swagbucks. Once you reach 45 you can cash that out for a $5 Amazon.com gift certificate (or Amazon.ca for you fellow Canucks). There are tons of other prizes too, but considering the money I spend on books I have my sights set on the Amazon ones.

I know how tight money is with the economy the way it is, so I thought I would share my latest discovery in case there are others who would like to take advantage of it. You can sign up for Swagbucks here (you get 3 credits just for joining).
