1. Independence - I tend to be stubborn as heck haha. I strongly value my independence, and can't stand being controlled.
   
2. Privacy - I am quite a reserved person. I value my quiet, private time where I can relax.
   
3. Spirituality - Sometimes faith is all I have to hang onto during hard times.
   
4. Family - Goes without saying.
   
5. Animals - My dogs are such an important part of my life.
   
6. Sense of Humour - Some things in life are too absurd not to laugh at =)
   

Six Things I Don't Value:

1. Materialism - I'm not a flashy person. I don't need to keep up with trends.
   
2. Shopping - I hate shopping malls. I prefer to do my shopping online when possible.
   
3. Telephones - I absolutely detest talking on the telephone. Email all the way!
   
4. Insects - I am not a fan of insects, they freak me out. Despite whatever useful purposes they may have, I can't seem to appreciate them in any way (the only exception would be butterflies that I can admire from a distance).
   
5. Competition - I'm someone who likes to run my own race and compete only with myself. I don't like being forced into competition.
   
6. Carrots - Again, I hate them.
