I've really fallen behind in posting examples of my recent work (the Christmas rush was crazy!), so I will do my best to update my blog more frequently so I can get caught up. So, prepare for lots of photos of Custom Orders in the near future! =)

I received a coupon code for a 20% discount from Moo.com and thought I would pass it along. Apparently the discount only applies to 1 item though, and not your entire order. I've ordered from Moo in the past, they have some really nice stuff (the Moo cards are a great alternative to business cards). Anyways, here's the code for those interested: 2WNB5X

It's a busy time of year for me, so I've been a bit late in sponsoring my shelter pet this month. I'm please to announce this month's sponsored pet, Kricket. I sponsor a new shelter pet every month with some of the profits from selling my Needle Felted art. I decided this month to sponsor a dog through the Canadian Chihuahua Rescue & Transport (CCRT). This month's sponsored pet is Kricket, a 5 year old female Chihuahua.

Here's a bit more info about Kricket:

"Meet Kricket, a darling 5 year old Chihuahua with lovely colouring and a beautiful face. She is spayed and will soon be brought up to date on shots and microchipped. Kricket was surrendered to CCRT as her owners could no longer care for her.

Kricket had spent alot of time by herself with her previous owners and is suffering from anxiety. She has shown some aggressive tendencies recently, but it's new behaviour and CCRT is committed to working with her and bringing her back to her old ways."

If you have a place in your heart and your home for Kricket, she is available for adoption through the Canadian Chihuahua Rescue & Transport (CCRT). If you are looking for a new pet, please check your local shelter and rescue listings - there are so many wonderful animals desperately seeking their forever home.
