I have two iggies (littermates) and when people ask me whether they get along i try not to laugh. They're the most cuddle-rific dogs out there :)

I have two beautiful IGs myself. They are so much fun to have around. They are my babies. Yes i spoil them, but how could you tell such a cute face no. There very active and are great with children, but can be hurt easily by them. They are high maintenence dogs. It is not hard to give the cute cridders the love and attention they so despretely need. They learn fast... with treats :)!! They also love to show off, they know they can run and will tease others of trying to do so. They are truly amazing dogs. They should only be put in families that are willing to give them Love, Companionship, Attention, and the care need for this type of breed.

What an adorable picture. I have an Iggy and he is the sweetest little guy. He looks so desperate for love with those little brown eyes. He is spoiled too. He is a fawn color with a bit of white down his nose, white tip on his tail and white on the paws. Named him Tippy. He turned 1 Feb 4, 09. Had a birthday cake and gifts for him:) I want another one. Can't have too many Iggies lol. I need to get him better clothes though. Booties??? How do you keep them on Zoe???

Does anyone know of a good dog food recipe for Italian Greyhounds. I have heard awful things about even the best canned food. We use Innova and have tried Merrick. They are a couple of the top brands. I heard that the dog food companies get their ingredients from other places to add to their food. It's the other places that they get their food from that add the perservatives etc. The packaging from the company didn't add the preservatives so they can say they were not added. I was sent an E-mail that showed that the dogs that were put to sleep were .....warning for the people who get upset...they put the doggies in the dog food. I was SHOCKED and ticked off. I just thought people should be aware. The rejected food is also put in the dog food:(

we have had two IGs ever since I was born. When our last one died of cancer, one and a half years ago, it was very tough for me. he was my best friend. Just like my first IG, he loved smaller dogs and of course, people! now, in two days, we will get two more ig. Half sibblings from kansas. IGs are very daring, and cuddly. If you are thinking of adopting one, get another, they do their best in pairs. I am an eleven year old girl who loves to play with dogs. Warning! Igs have very thing legs! Do not let tiny children grab ahold of them. They can definatly sitll play with them, IGs love small creatures. Make sure you leash train them!!! I LOVE SOPHIE AND VINNY!!!
