Theres dirt under my fingernails these days as I take advantage of the weather by gardening. I weed, I enjoy the chorus of wild turkeys on the hillside below me, I watch Mao enjoy a sun spot on the deck, and I plan the relandscaping of our back yard.

If I were of an earlier generation, the weeding would be easy. Id just drown them in DDT. But instead, I water the drought-parched earth and pluck each bunch of weeds out by the roots. It takes a couple of weeks to rid the yard and hillside of the...

Dear Max, I see you are giving out exercise advice now. I like to walk on the treadmill everyday since it is right next to my kitty climbing tree. How can I be sure to keep my perfectly fluffy shape? I dont want to get too lean and mean, cuz chicks dig me just the way I am.

Be sure to eat a lot of real live fresh dead things. That gives you protein for your muscles. And then make sure you get a lot of crunchy treats, so you have carbs for when youre on the treadmill. And to make sure you keep...

Max, one of my kitties keeps getting outside and then she gets on the roof and hollers her head off for us to come get her. Shes supposed to be an indoor-only kitty, but she pops a window open and sneaks out. We always make sure the windows are locked (and child-locked) but sometimes someone forgets. How do we convince her to stay the frak indoors?

Put pet-safe screens on the windows so she cant get out if someone forgets to lock them. Or if thats out of the question, baby gates work pretty...

Scout Buckaroo thinks Grumpy Cat should learn to turn her frown UPSIDE DOWN. That...
