Earlier this week, I was sent an e-mail asking if I would promote a pet photo contest. It seems some people think I like animals and pets. Hmmmph wonder where they would get a crazy idea like that! Forgive me for a moment, but this is one of my most favorite photos I have ever taken. (c) Misty DawnS I saw this critter when Hubs and I were on our way for our long walk last weekend. I asked, "Did you see that?" Hubs said "No. Do you want me to back up?" I just gave him that look as he was already putting the vehicle in reverse. (c) Misty DawnS It has come time for me to accept the fact that my 'puppy' really isn't a puppy anymore. She's two years old, and each day it seems she's looking more and more mature. Yes, I realize I sound like a mother talking about her child - so what! My baby is growing up... *waaaaaahhhh*. I hope I'm still welcome at the Today's Flowers meme, considering I haven't participated for so long *hanging head in shame*. These beautiful flowers adorn the Kalanchoe, which my lawyer-boss in Ohio bought me for Secretary's Day one year. I especially love this gift, because it blooms and brings beauty to my home when nothing else is blooming. * * Disclaimer * * I had WAY too much fun with this bird, which would be why I took an excessive amount of photos of this bird, which would probably be why this bird haunts my dreams... with its iridescent feathers, long and pointy beak and...
