I've been trying my hand at making a few bracelets with my beads. This one is my black French Bulldog slider bead that sits in the middle of this black cord bracelet. On either end of that bead are wooden beads, one green and one blue and two gold rings on each end with blue glass seed bead. At each end before the clasp are two bows, one green and one blue, which are removable. The bracelet ends with a gold tone clasp and extender chain ending with brass dog bone.

The approximate length of the bracelet is 8" with 1-1/2" extension chain.

I love the art of quilling and one of these days, like many things I want to try, this is one of the techniques I'd like to give a whirl, no pun intended. Here are some beautiful examples of quilling from a fellow Etsy and EFA member, EnsorcelledMinds. I think I especially love the little dragon.

So we all waited a long time to know who the face was behind the rock group Kiss, well I'm here to let you in on the secret and the real identity behind this Kiss character -- no, it's not Paul Stanley, it's the Pugster and here he is to reveal himself.


This little Pugster is hand-sculpted from polymer clay and painted in acrylic paints. He is embellished with loads of studs and spikes and silver beads from his neck to his toes (even his little tail has spikes) and wears a bracelet. He wears white "powder make-up" on his face, black star on eye and red lipstick.

My dream studio would be set up in the loft of our log home (which you can see by the photo is not completed yet) where there's a beautiful view of the river. The home has been handcrafted and built by local craftsman and the inside is being completely finished by my husband and I little by little. The studio would start out with a beautiful table, a comfortable chair, a great light and a chest for storage, all made by hand or hand altered in some way to give me that wonderful feeling of handmade that I love so much. After that I'd just load the space up with clay, clay and more clay and the best sculpting tools.

Meet Pugsy, the King of Rock and Roll. As you can see this little Pug loves rock and roll and Elvis is his all time fav! He tries to emulate him as much as he can with his beautiful studded cape.

Pugsy is my latest sculpture, he is hand-sculpted from polymer clay. He wears a cape embellished with vintage rhinestones, charms, Swarovski crystals and micro beads.
