Otis loves owls especially this little owl that looks just like him, they have become fast friends.

Otis and his owl are both hand-sculpted from polymer clay. They are done in matching colors of orange, green and purple. Otis is also embellished with a green heart on his belly, purple shoes, a shock of green hair and an orange Swarovski crystal on the side of his pants. This is a set of two beads, both pierced vertically from head to bottom.

Even though we are right in the middle of a snowstorm and there is about three inches already on the ground spring is in the air and this little Boston Terrier is waiting for warmer days and a place to call home.

The entire top of the piece is hand-sculpted with polymer clay. The dog house is white with pink heart and flower accents on all walls embellished with tiny silver beads. There are little flowers blooming around the house on colored wire. The house and flowers are fused to the base, but the Boston Terrier herself is removable and can lay either in the house or be taken out to be placed elsewhere. She wears a 10mm Swarovski crystal AB heart around her neck attached with pink and yellow embroidery threads. The entire piece sits on a pale green wooden hand-cut and painted base.

I first introduced this little Boston Terrier here and she's waiting for a new home.

A percentage of the sales from this little Boston Terrier goes towards my EFA group's charity of the month. EFA is a group of Etsy artists committed to helping animals.

So I've been on a Michael Jackson kick lately and it got me to thinking about him, his music and his career. I wondered why Michael Jackson went "Off The Wall" and started to get weird after such a great career in music.

Maybe he just wanted a little "Privacy" or maybe he couldn't escape his "Childhood" and then I thought maybe there was no one there when he needed to "Cry", no one there when he needed a "Smile" and most of all no one there to tell him when to stop, maybe no one had the courage to speak up to let him know he's going too far. I mean after all don't we all have it in ourselves to act a little "Bad" when there's no one there to tell us to stop, when we're making so much "Money" -- would we just say "Beat It" to everybody? I'm thinking that maybe it's just "Human Nature", that we all have this behavior in us when you make so much money and there's no one to stop you -- and I want to tell Michael "You're Not Alone".

But in the end I still ask myself when he looks at the "Man In the Mirror" does he "Scream", is he "Speechless", is he happy with the man he's become or does he look back and think, "Do You Remember The Time" or does he just stare in that mirror and think "Who Is It"?

No matter what you may think about MJ you can't deny that back in the day he was a major talent and for me Man In The Mirror will always be a great song and one of my favorites!

Here are a few more of my new hearts. I love the colors of spring and creating with them has really given me the spring bug. I truly am enjoying working with bright colors again. Have you started on your spring projects?
