This sweet little Cairn Terrier can't wait for Halloween, he loves to play dress up and loves his jailbird costume.

The tile is hand-sculpted from polymer clay. The Cairn Terrier lays on a green background. He is dressed up as a little jailbird with this black and white shirt and cap and holds a ball and chain. He is also holding his very own pumpkin basket so he can stock up on all of those tasty Halloween treats. The approximate size of the tile is 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" square and hangs from orange ribbon.

This dog is quite the basketball player, he is quite the little dribbler and that slam dunk at the end is too funny! He needs to be signed to the Bulls right away!

Here are three new pieces I recently finished with loads of color. After this dreary winter and the cold weather, which by the way has not ended yet, it was 60 here a couple days ago and now we're down to 16 -- go figure. Anyway, here are my three new creations showing some love for these pups -- chock full of color -- hope you like!

We love cute here and most anything that has to do with animals, especially dogs -- so when I came across these darling coin purses and wristlets they qualified for the cute factor and we wanted to share with our friends in the blog world -- okay, all right, we just had to show the kitty wristlet too. And if animal related is not what you're looking for Antiquebasketlady has various other patterns and styles too choose from with some beautiful fabrics and colors to choose from.

I first read Sammy's story over at Origena and was so saddened by it. I am always amazed and appalled that humans can be so cruel. I really don't understand it, I always find it so hard to comprehend how human beings can hurt poor defenseless creatures, how they can live with themselves after they've done such horrible things. I do believe in karma though and at some point what goes around comes around in one way or another.

You can read about Sammy's story over at Noahs Arks Rescue where he's being cared for. I have to warn you the photos of how Sammy came to them are graphic and very hard to look at. I was compelled to make a small donation to help for Sammy's care and I would actually love to adopt Sammy, he'd be a great mate for my Lena! I'm just grateful that there are organizations out there who care for our four legged friends like Sammy!
