As of February 1, 2009, the following new regulation applies to shipments of Hatching Eggs, Live Fish, and Live Specials.
As part of our “Shipper Verification” method, we require that the following information is provided when a booking is made and is included on the AWB:
1. Contact name of the Shipper as it appears on the AWB
2. A 24-hour-phone number of the Shipper as it appears on the AWB
Further, for all Live Animal shipments, the complete name and address of the Shipper and Consignee are required at the time of booking and must be included on the AWB.
