A couple of years ago, we moved a little Miniature Schnauzer named Max from the Toronto area to Shanghai.  His owner Lynn sent us this picture of adorable Max getting delivered.

We were so excited today when we received another picture of Max, who's still the same size!

A few months ago we moved Cynthia and Mark's Min-Pin, Caesar, from the US to London.  Caesar had to wait out his 6 month home quarantine a little longer, so while Cynthi and Mark left for London from New York, their relatives watched Caesar and worked with our pet transportation specialists on getting the final health certificates for Caesar's trip.

Today we got some great pictures of Cynthia and Caesar sight-seeing in London, wearing our PetRelocation.com t-shirt.

What exactly is the 6 month wait? I may be moving a dog from US to England. Thanks, Betsy.

Whenever discussing pet travel or pet transportation to England or any other rabies-free country (like Japan or Australia), a lot of people will mention the "six month wait."

What this means is that instead of putting your dog or cat in quarantine for six months upon arrival in England, you can do the following in order to avoid quarantine:

Step 1:  Microchip implantation

I have a Nanday conure and I am planning on returning to England from the USA. What are the requirements to take my pet bird with me?  Thanks, Lynne

Moving pet birds can be quite difficult, especially these days given the avian influenza concerns.  While it is possible to take a pet bird from the United States to England, it can require a lot of pre-move paperwork and documentation.
