This afternoon I came across this great blog on living in Japan talking about the change in attitudes toward pets in Japan over the last few years:
Georgie is an Ori Pei dog we moved to Shanghai a couple of weeks ago, and many people were following her international pet travel story on our blog!
We were thrilled to get some great pictures of Georgie relaxing in her new condo in Shanghai today. She looks like she's enjoying her home and her owners tell us that she loves looking out the windows.

Budget Travel has a great list of "14 Weird Animals You Can Travel to See." Near the top of the list is the Naked Mole Rat, which we have actually moved internationally before. However, if you want to check out a naked mole rat in its natural habitat you'll have to travel to Kenya!

This post comes from our partnership with PetTravelCenter.com in providing pet transport information for their visitors!
When humans travel internationally, they get a passport issued, so it makes sense that pets would need one too. However, there is a lot of confusion about pet passports, particularly in the US.
