Jean Paul & La La's owners Kike & Brad contacted us almost a year ago about moving these two adorable Wheaten Terriers from Las Vegas, Nevada to Tokyo, Japan. They had already started the process, and were planning on moving them in October of 2007. Unfortunately when we reviewed their paperwork, we noticed that La La had received one of her two required rabies shots before she got her microchip. This meant that the process had to be started all over again, with La La getting another rabies shot and a new blood test being done. Brad made the decision that he'd rather Jean Paul stay with La La while they waited for six months to fulfill the pre-export quarantine for pets moving to Japan.

Needless to say, Brad & Kike were thrilled to see their dogs after six long months and the above picture, taken when they were delivered, proves it!
Kathy, Brad's mom, was the one who saw them off in Las Vegas, and wrote us this note of thanks:

Thanks so much for all of your help. I really don't know how we could have done it by ourselves. Kike said that the dogs definitely remembered him after being apart so long and of course they all went nuts. They love their dogs so much and we thank you so much for being so thorough throughout this process. If I ever hear of anyone moving their pets, I will give them your name. It's been a pleasure working with you and thanks again. It was our pleasure! Thank you for trusting PetRelocation.com and all the best to Jean Paul, LaLa, Brad & Kike!
Just a week after the Inauguration, Lexi the Lab moved from the Washington, DC area to London, UK! Her owner Chad sent us pictures of her, along with this note:
Hi Scotty,
Following our phone call, attached are 2 pics of Lexi in her new home. She continues to do well and everything appears normal ... input and output.
She did sleep a lot today from the jet lag perhaps.
Again I will recommend your service to anyone and we will be repeat customers. Although it took a bit of effort on that end from you and Donald, it was stress free on our end. Thank you!
Chad
Today one of our customers emailed us this photograph of Bowie, a miniature Australian Shepherd puppy who traveled from Houston, TX to Doha, Qatar. Bowie flew on British Airways via London, where he was kept in climate controlled conditions throughout the flight. Our Middle-East specialist Scotty (who happens to have a dog named Aussie!) also arranged a comfort stop overnight at the London airport pet hotel.
Bowie, pictured in Doha, was bred by Texas Ti Aussies.
As an Austin-based company, PetRelocation.com is proud of this little Texan!
Along with the picture, this is what Bowie's new owners had to say:
Much Thanks to You and the Pet Relocation Team. Bowie arrived exactly when requested just in time for the Holidays ! Great Job and All the Best to you.
We wish Bowie and his new family all of the best for their time in Doha, and appreciate their trust in our services!

Jasper & Lira were two cats we relocated from New Jersey to Tokyo a few months ago. We received an email from their owners today with the following update:
The kitties are safe and sound and adjusting well to life in Tokyo.
I think what they love the most is the living room floor – it’s one of those “radiant heat” floors that are heated from underneath.
So they like to find a good spot in the sun and enjoy warmth from above and below!
I’ll put it in the “no news is good news”
department that we really don’t have any stories to tell. They’ve settled in rather quickly.
I think they are happy just to be in a house with people, since they had been at home mostly alone for a few months.
Having Pet Relocation (dot com) take care of the cats really helped us rest much more easily. At a time of great stress, getting the cats over here was one thing we didn’t have to worry about. Since we were already over here, having someone go pick up the cats at our home and get them to the airport was indispensable. And that’s not to mention the tons of complicated paperwork that had to be filled out. I don’t know how we would have gotten through all of that without you. Finally, since we don’t speak Japanese, having someone recive them at the airport and bring them to our door was wonderful.
Unfortunately all the pictures are on Katherine’s computer, but they are definitely very cute and quite content.
Thanks very much for all your great assistance. We wish you the best of Holidays and a very Happy New Year.
