Hailey enjoyed a full birthday weekend filled with homemade meals, toys and lots of playtime with her sisters. This is a meatloaf cake with mashed potato icing. It took about 2 seconds for Hailey to figure out that she could jump on the table. Our spoiled little girl enjoying all her new toys and pillows. She was not a fan of the hat! Here she is. Pam Sweet, our dear friend and fellow blogger, lost her battle with cancer on March 6. Just One Day and a Pet Adoption Event

Tomorrow is the Just One Day event! Fort Worth Animal Care and Control is participating by suspending euthanasia. In an effort to help find more homes for more dogs and cats, I obtained the support of my employer to host on-site pet adoptions on June 15th at our 1617 West Seventh Street EECU location. Just one day. It doesn't seem like much time really. But when you are a dog or cat stuck at your local animal shelter, 24 hours might be all the time that you have to find a new home.
