Hi blog-friends! I’ve noticed a few of my artsy-friends in town are getting nominations for the Metro Mag 2010 Keeper Awards, and I thought I should try to nab some votes too. Here’s a little blurb from the site:
A “Keeper” is an up-and-coming Twin Cities artist who is so bananas-talented that we never want him/her to leave. To keep (get it?) these future art stars from skipping town, we’re writing a splashy story about them in our January 2010 issue, giving them a killer trophy (designed by 2009 Keeper Andrea Stanislav) and throwing a party in their honor (details to come).
So if you think I’m “bananas-talented” I’d love for you (and your friends!) to nominate me! The deadline is next Thursday, October 29th. To sweeten the pot a bit, if I’m chosen as one of the Keepers, there’s going to be a fabulous prize for one of YOU! (details, of course, to come)
