Pet Product Review - Sleepypod Air in-cabin pet travel carrier & Crater Dot contoured pet lounge
The panel was excited to receive two very unique products from the super team at Sleepypod to review!
Sleepypod Air - This is one of the nicest pet carriers I've come across. Very well made, light weight, and extremely comfortable for the furry passenger. Never again will our kitties have to ride in the scary cargo hold of the plane! The Sleepypod Air can compress in length from 22" to 16" allowing you to store it under the seat in front of you during take-off & landings, then, once you're airborne, expand the ends and slip the carrier between your feet so Snookums has extra room to stretch-out during the flight. It also has straps on both sides so that it can be secured with a seatbelt when in your car.
The lining is extremely soft and the animals love just lounging inside of it. Our daughter's kitty, Zeus, had absolutely no intention of getting out! I can't wait to try it out on my next kitty accompanied flight. For now, I'm using it for quick trips to the vet since it is much less bulky and pounds lighter than the hard-shell carrier I was using. Love it!
The Sleepypod Air carrier retails for around $140.00 and comes in Jet Black, Dark Chocolate, Orange Dream, Glacier Silver and Strawberry Red. Visit the Where to Buy page on the Sleepypod website to find a retailer or, purchase directly from Sleepypod.
Crater Dot - Not only do the cats love the Crater Dot, it's cute too! As soon as I set the Crater Dot on one of our office chairs, Buddha jumped on and curled up. He sleeps on it every day now and gets a bit perturbed when Indy or Brave try to steal some "chill" time in it. I really like the fact that I can remove the colored dot to give it a hand washing when I need to (Fleece, 100% polyester). You can even purchase a Crater Dot warming kit to slip in the pocket in the base. Spoiled kitties!
The Crater Dot retails for around $70.00 and comes in Mossy Green, Lunar Gray, Blossom Pink, Orange Dream or Lavender Field. Visit the Where to Buy page on the Sleepypod website to find a retailer or, purchase directly from Sleepypod.

Pet Product Review - Luxury pet products by Ragazzi Life
The dog lovers at Ragazzi were kind enough to send us a few of their products to try out. Let's see what the panel thought...
Pet Product Review - Ruff Wear Performance Dog Gear - Bark'n Boots
As a Colorado resident with "dogs on the go," asking Ruff Wear to send a pair of their all-terrain Bark'n boots to review was a no-brainer!
I can't believe how well-made these boots are! They are perfect for providing traction for our dogs on the snow and ice and will be great for hiking in the foothills and mountains this summer. Another big winter benefit is protection for his pads from the salt and chemicals used to melt snow on the sidewalks and streets.
Intended Use:
Hiking, backpacking, walking, and running on steep, rough or rocky terrain to prevent paw damage. Also for traction on slippery surfaces. Non-marking sole is safe for indoor and nautical use.
Key Features:
Rugged lug pattern provides stability on rough or unstable terrain
Ventilating mesh upper provides breathability and wicks away moisture
Expansion gusset makes the boots easy to put on
Sure Cinch closure strap provides secure fit, ensuring boots stay on paws
Reflective trim provides visibility in low-light conditions
Seamless construction reduces abrasion and enhances fit
Non-marking VibramTM outsole for high-grip, high-traction, high-mileage, and high-performance
We found the trick is getting your dog to wear them! We started slowly, rewarding our dog for just allowing us to put one boot on one foot for a few seconds. We then performed the same routine each day until we had covered all four feet. We gradually worked up to fastening all four boots on his feet and rewarding him for standing in them. It wasn't long until he would walk around the house with his boots on and soon forgot all about them when he was running outside in the snow.
You can purchase Bark'n Boots in red or black for $59.95 on the Ruff Wear website. They also carry loads of gear for the active dog including: Travel bowls, leashes, dog packs and overcoats.
