If you've been reading my blog, you will know that walking my dog and his comfort is one of the most important things to me. I think every dog needs a proper collar, a good sturdy leash and I always recommend a harness. I recommend harnesses because the league needs the stress around the neck. 	Harnesses are definitely safer than collars. I have a family member whose dog also met an untimely "end" because he took the wrong step when he was wearing a collar and tethered to a post.
