Pet Products Review -Finny Pet Products Leash Light
Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. And thats what I think of Finy Pet Products Leash Light. Today, I heard sunset is going to be at 8:12pm. What that means is that there is even more time to get outdoors with you best mate and take cherished walks longer and later than before. But, don't get caught too far away, and then be in the dark. Remember, not only are people and pets walking later, so are cyclists, motorists and rollerbladers. With all of this warm weather congestion, you need a Finny Pet Products Leash Light.

Finny Pet Products Leash Light is an attachable flashlight that adheres to any Flexi brand extendable leash with super strong velcro. Light, portable and adds saftey. I think its a good product and at only $7.99 affordable. Buy yours on their site at:

Pet Product Review - American Greetings Traditional Pet Sympathy Cards
As you all know, I lost my dearest friend Champ a week ago. I've been so fortunate to have so many wonderful friends and neighbors offer support and sympathy. I went to clear my head over the long weekend and when I returned on Tuesday, there were several sympathy cards left at my doorstep from neighbors. This meant so much. I noticed that many were from American Greetings. With that I applaud American Greetings for recognizing the strong bond between pet and owner and the importance of giving them respect when they pass.

Lucky for us American Greetings also knows that most of us are very busy and don't have time to go to the store to buy a proper card. Their website has beautiful downloadable and printable cards:
You will need to join their community to have access to the cards, but there is a 1-week free trial offer. I recommend if you're at a loss to say when a friend's pet passes, these American Greetings printable sympathy cards will be much appreciated.

Pet Products Review - Doggles ILS - Eye Goggles For Dogs
I know, you're thinking what? eye goggles for dogs.... ABSOLUTELY.

Think about it, many breeds have what you may call "buggy" eyes. Pugs are the most well known for this. They lead with their eyes, and in fact Pugs are common victims of many eye condition problems. Some may include scratching, excessive tearing, and foreign elements. Could you imagine those lovely brown eyes that give you devotion ever being hurt? NO!
I love Koggles ILS. They are goggles especially designed for dogs. Not only do they protect against the conditions mentioned above, but they have UVA protection. Although your little one certainly won't like them, they will get used to them and they are a necessity. I have a friend with a pug and she told me her little Pug, Cubby never goes for a walk with out them. He has a tendency to run under bushes and brambles. She also told me that when she travels in the car, Cubby can now put his head out the window without the fear of trauma to the eye.
If you're considering buying Doggles, go directly to their site: http://www.doggles.com/doggles.html there you will find a varieties of colors and 5 sizes.

The following alert was sent to me by Michael Ayalon of PuppyPappers.com. The following is his announcement regarding Nutro Cat Food:
Nutro pet foods is recalling some of its pet foods due to a production mistake which led to incorrect levels of certain nutritional elements in the foods.
Nutro recalls several dry cat foods
The recall involves several of the dry cat food formulations marketed by Nutro. The cat food products being recalled include the Max Cat and Natural Choice Complete Care dry cat formulations.
The following dry cat formulations have been voluntarily recalled by Nutro:
- Max Cat - Adult Roasted Chicken, Indoor Adult Roasted Chicken, Indoor Adult Salmon and Indoor Weight Control

Additionally, the products affected by this pet food recall have a "Best by" or "Best if Used By" date between May 12, 2010 and August 22, 2010.
Pet food recall does not include dog foods
Unlike the massive pet food recall in 2007, this pet food recall does not include dog foods. Only the cat food products listed above are involved in the pet food recall. No other Nutro products are being recalled. Nutro stresses that Nutro brand dry and wet dog food formulations, Nutro brand wet cat food formulations and all Nutro brand dog and cat food treats are safe.
Nutro recalled these dry cat foods due to a pre-mix error which resulted in incorrect levels of zinc and potassium in the affected cat foods.
Cat food recall includes United States and ten other countries
The affected Nutro dry cat foods being recalled were distributed within all 50 states. Retailers in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Isreal are also affected.
Cats affected by pet food recall
These pet foods are being recalled by Nutro because they are not nutritionally balanced. Consumers who have been feeding these diets to their cats are urged to contact their veterinarian if the cat is:

Cat owners should also consult their veterinarians if their cat is pregnant.
Cat owners feeding these diets should discontinue the diets immediately and replace the diet with another nutritionally balanced cat food diet.
