Pet Products Review - Guardian Gear Collapsible Crates

Every so often I come across a product that I say to myself, wow! this is an essential.  The Guardian Gear Collapsible Crates is just that.  Now you and your pet can travel in comfort and ease and never worry about lugging thast huge, heavy metal cage around.  So puppy owners, if you're cage training your pup, but want to visit the folks, no problem.

What I love is that the crate folds up into a convenient flat case that is only 2" thick.  Kind of like those big artist portfolios you see people carry around the city.  The Guardian Create is durable, water-resistant, and easy to clean, there are large mesh windows so your pup feels like he's part of the action. I'm going to start using it so that my pup can watch me participate in field sports without having to worry that he might get loose or might not have shelter from the rain or heat.  Plus, he'll get to watch the action.

The Guardian Crates come in a variety of colors correspond to size. Faux sheepskin mat provides comfort. Matching carrying case, less than 2" thick, has Velcro flaps on convenient pockets that hold toys, treats, and accessories. Assemble or break down in seconds with no tools required.

Crates are available in the sizes listed below.
Pink/Green Small measures 24 L x 18 W x 21 H Lime Green/Blue Medium measures 31 L x 21 W x 26 H Orange/Yellow Large measures 38 L x 26 W x 29 H Red/Blue X-Large measures 42 L x 29 W x 34 H

I shopped around and found the very best prices at PetEdge.com:  http://www.petedge.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=46652  as low as $34.99.  Great price!

Pet Product Review -Kyjen Outward Hound Port-a-Bowl-Blue, 48 Ounce

Ok, so if you read my blog the other day, I got on the case of the manufacturer Kyjen for manufacturing waste disposal bags that were not bio-degradable.  I vented.  But, when it comes to their core product line of making pet products for pet travel, they do an excellent job.

Kyjen Outward Hound Port-a-Bowl-Blue, 48 Ounce

I love these Port-A-Bowls.  They work wonders.  As a test, I used the bowl exlusively for water, filled with water everyday for 2 full weeks.  Never at any time did the bowl collapse or dip.  The Bowl is completely lined so never is there a leak. Kyjen's Por-A-Bowl is very durable and will last for years and over many trips.  It folds completely flat, so storage is easy.  The sample Kyjen sent me was for a 48oz size.  At first I thought this is perfet for big dogs, it can hold quite a lot of water.  But let me tell you, it was the perfect size for my cat too.  Stinky, my cat had no problem adjusting to the new water bowl.

If you're interested in buying a Port-A-Bowl go to Complete Pet Mart where teh bowls are sold for under $6.  http://www.completepetmart.biz/520601.html
