Pet Product Review - Nature's Best by Hill's Science Diet
I have this friend who is so darling. She works close to Grand Central Station in New York. If you're from New York City, you'll know this location is "sample city". Companies love to give out samples. With that over the course of a week collected for me and my pup Charlie over 20 boxes of daily sample packs of Nature's Best by Hill's Science Diet. What a doll.
Although I accepted them graciously, my pup is too young to have a diet that is changed around frequently. So I took the samples and in turn donated them to a local organization that saves and fosters stray cats and dogs in my neighborhood. With the economy the way it is, they are grateful for any donation.
I did, however ask Marta, the group organizer if she could help me out, and select just one dog and give him the Nature's Best by Hill's Science Diet for a straight 20 days. She obliged. Lucky for me all of the samples were Nature's Best Lamb & Brown Rice Dinner.

Well after the 20 days, Marta called me up and said that dog she was fostering had improved so significantly in such a fast time. Not only did he have more energy, but his coat was fluffy and had a nice shine to it, and he played at the dog run with more glee than before. I'm not sure, but I think the combination of superior dog food and some good home love did the trick.
Now there are many great quality dog foods out there, and many that are not so great. And each one will work differently on different dogs. So I like this product, but I do recommend you ask your vet or breeder what foods they recommend. Nature's Best pet food claims to be the only natural pet food clinically proven to provide complete, balanced nutrition. Go to their website for more details:
While you're there, make sure to sign up for your $5 off coupon so that you can try the food risk free. And check out the link where to buy as Nature's Best by Hill's Science Diet is available at local veterinarians.

Pet Products Review - Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine
Well my dog Champ is very sick. He has a number of complications and we're heading to the specialist this morning. Unfortunately it seems that he may have a neurological issue. This scares me.
One of the side affects from his ailment is that he's incredibly dizzy and as a result started to vomit accutely. Poor pup, he had nothing left in his stomach and that made the matter worse. So aside from the neurological issues, I asked my vet what is the best food for your dog when they vomit. She recommended Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine.

The Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine is specially formulated for a diet that won't aggrevate a pup with gastrointestinal diseases. I guess you can say its like white rice with a bit of chicken but in a can an perfectly balanced for a dog.
You can find this Hill's product on nearly every online retailer. Southern Agriculture has it on sale at: http://www.southernagriculture.com/southag/product.asp?dept_id=226&pf_id=PAAAAAOEIHGHLJAP&ad_id=froogle&key_id=37515_HillsPrescriptionDietDogIDFoodCan

Pet Products Review - c/d® Multicare with Chicken Feline by Hill's Prescription Diet
As you may know, I rely on an awesome panel of feline and canine tester. This past week I've had the pleasure of working with Rookie. Because I was pet sitting I was able to really watch his food consumption, behavior and energy as if he was my own.
Rookie is an 8 year old kitty who about a year ago was experiencing frequent but strained attempts to urinate. His Mommy told me the Vet explained these were some of the first signs of a urinary condition. You can imagine I've been interested in the perscription and Rookie's progress ever since.

What the Vet perscribed was a slight change in diet that included Hill's Perscription Diet c/d Feline Muliticare in a can. Rookie gets 1 can a day. Half a can in the morning and another half can in the evening. At first I thought that 1 can was not going to be enough food. My Stinky eats nearly a bowl a day of a dry and wet combo. But after watching Rookie, I do notice although he lets me know he's hungry, 1 can a day does suffice.

As for his health, let me tell you, he is one fit kitty. He is not overweight and has tremendous energy. Certainly he is alert and full of expressions. His coat is soft and luxurious. Lastly, I saw no signs of relief outside the box. My recommendation; Hill's Perscription Diet c/d mulitcare is an excellent product. Knowing that it is prescribed by a vet gives me confidence in saying so.
Ask if your vet is a partner with Hill's Prescription Diet and if so, if they carry products for sale. Otherwise, you can certainly find them online at PetSmart.com.

product review - t/d® Small Bites Canine
What a difference! Chi Chi loves t/d Small Bites by Hill's Prescription Diet.
Serious now, really good friends of mine whose opinion I totally respect adopted a 2 year old French Bulldog. Chi Chi despite being totally adorable and smart was a bit underweight and had some congestion problems that needed vet attention.
The vet recommended Hill's Prescription Diet t/d Small Bits. It is specifically formulated for dogs that weigh less than 15 lbs with smaller sized kibble for their little mouths.
Not only does Chi Chi love, love, love this kibble, she looks great, and in 2 months her health, coat and teeth got significantly better. My friends simply said, "It's amazing".

So if your little dog is your loving companion, make sure to ask your vet for the best food recommendation and ask for the Hill's Prescription t/d diet.
