Anyway, they have a coupon that is quite substantial, but you have to order prior to July 31th. Here it is:
Pet Products Review - MAX CAT Adult Roasted Chicken Flavor Cat Food by Nutro
Every so often I come across a brand of pet food that just says everything I want to hear on the label. These are super premium pet foods and a higher cost. With that, I tried MAX CAT Adult Roasted Chicken Flavor cat food made by Nutro.

Our test panelist Agnes the Calico had the honor. This product is perfect for Agnes because she is an indoor cat so she needs a very high protein diet for healthy weight maintenance. Also, Agnes has the most lovely calico coat, so keeping shiny and shed free is important to her Mommy Bryana. Well Agnes is a very finicky eater, so introducing a new kibble to her is always risk for rejection. Lucky for us, Agnes enjoyed the food and ate at a good and normal pace. Sometimes when cats eat too fast, its because the kibble is loaded with unhealthy fat.

The fact that Nutro does not use chemicals but naturally preserved with vitamin E is a good point for me. Also, the price is quite reasonable. www.PetlandDiscounts.com has the entire selection of Nutro brands. The MAX CAT is only $23 for a 24lbs bag.

Pet Product Review - Walmart Ol' Roy Kibbles Chunks and Chews
If you have not been to the pet corner of a Walmart store recently, I recommend going. Walmart simply has nearly everything a pet owner of every kind needs. And the prices are amazing. On my last trip to Walmart, I did go with the purchase intention of well known super premium kibble. I did find what i was looking for, and the price was right, but I opted to try something new Ol' Roy Kibbles Chunks n Chews. The brightly colored 20 lbs bag cost less than $10.
Yes, I admit, it was the price that was the driving factor as to why I bought this "house" brand of dog food. But as you know, if you have to throw the food away because your dog won't eat it; well thats certainly not economical. Surprising, my dog Champ really enjoyed this kibble. It did not phase him that it was a new brand, or a more economical brand, he ate contently. 3 months later is enoying the same food from the economy size bag.
I did some research and found that Ol' Roy is manufactured by a very large and super respected pet food manufacturer. The same manufacturer that creates some of my favorite pet brands. So I feel good that its American made and under the strictest supervision. I was also endeared by the story that Sam Walton had a faithful companion bird dog named Ol' Roy, and the two were inseparable; hence the name Ol' Roy.
All in all I highly recommend this Walmart brand.

Pet Products Review - Eukanuba Adult Weight Control Formula for Cats
By now I've introduced to you my precious kitty Stinky. Now, let me show you how he spends his entire day:

Napping, sleeping, cuddling, sleeping, and napping again. Sometimes I think he's been bitten by a tsetse fly and I've been know to call him lazy bones.
Well, napping is great, but its a disaster on a waistline, especially one that's only 14 inches. So, I've consulted with my Vet and asked for his recommendation for a weight maintainence dry cat food formula. He recommended the Eukanuba Adult Weight Control Formula.
At first, I thought, Stinky will never eat this. Stinky likes the supermarket brands that come in cute shapes, colors and have snappy names on the boxes. To my surprise, he liked the Eukanuba. He ate his kibble at the same rate as he normally does. Of course, he didn't gobble it down like with wet food, but he certainly did not go hungry, and he did not rebel as cats often do when they're upset.

I like how the Eukanuba is very high in protein and omega-3 oils. I even read on their bag that their is Taurine, which I know for a fact is in my daily Red Bull. Maybe it will give him a little spark?
All in all, I think if you've got nap-lovin' kitty like Stinky, incorporating a weight control formula into his diet can't hurt; and Eukanuba passed this feline test.
