Pet Product Review - Sleepypod Air

today I was not sent a sample I was sent a press release announcing the newest product specifically designed for in cabin pet travel on aircraft. Again I wish I had a sample so I can give you my opinion, but I did want to bring it to your attention. Below please find product information from their press release:

Sleepypod’s Newest Evolution in Pet Carriers Redefines In-cabin Pet Travel
Los Angeles, Calif.—September 20, 2009—Sleepypod, maker of the eponymous, multiple award-winning mobile pet bed, announces it will
introduce Sleepypod Air, its newest evolution in pet carriers, at the H.H. Backer 43rd Annual Christmas Trade Show & Educational
Conference in Chicago, Ill. on October 2-4.
“This is not just the newest evolution in Sleepypod’s line of pet carriers,” says Michael Leung, one of Sleepypod’s three co-owners and
product designers. Sleepypod Air is a revolutionary carrier that redefines in-cabin pet travel. Airline regulations regarding pets in the airline
cabin are not created equal. Each airline has its own rules, to include its own restrictions on the maximum pet carrier size.
“Sleepypod Air solves this size restriction dilemma. It has the ability to contract in size to fit in the space below a range of airline seats during
the restricted times of takeoff and landing,” explains Leung. “Once the captain announces you are free to recline your seat, simply slide
Sleepypod Air from under the seat and expand the carrier so your pet is allowed the largest space possible space while the plane is in the air.”
Sleepypod Air’s folding base allows it to be compressed from a length of 22 inches to 19 inches in length when one side is folded or 16 inches
in length when both sides are folded. Instructional diagrams on how to compress and expand Sleepypod Air can be found at:
http://sleepypod.com/air.
/>Safe Car Seat Function
Seatbelt straps on both sides allow you to secure Sleepypod Air in a car seat. Instructional diagrams on how to use Sleepypod Air as a safe car
seat for a pet can be found at: http://sleepypod.com/air.

Pet Products Review - BoomerangTags.com CollarTags

When it comes to pet identification and pet recovery, my policy is that you can not have too much.  Could you imagine losing your pet?  I'd be devistated.  My pup Charlie has multiple tags, some of which have digital databases of contacts to call, he's microchipped, registered at the police station and he has a great old fashioned lovely CollarTag by Boomerangtags.com.  I love this CollarTag.

Boomerang_collartag_n_thumbI bet you were hoping that I'd show Secret Shopper's name, sorry.

What I love about this particular CollarTag is that it lays flush against the collar.  This mitigates any friction between the collar and the dog's skin.  It also makes the CollarTag very secure and less apt to wiggle its way free.  Too boot, you have less of the jingle jangle of tags that sometimes can wake you up at night.

The BoomerangTag.com CollarTag is very well constructed of jewelery quality stainless steel.  It's got a sophisticated "classic" look. Trust me the Boomerangtag.com CollarTag makes any collar look great; and it won't discolor your dog's hair like some other tags.

I strongly recommend that you go to www.boomerangTag.com site to place your order.  The tags are only $10.25 and include tax & shipping! But you need to find the exact size that fits your dog.  So order here:  http://www.boomerangtags.com/store/list.php?A=S&ID=16

Pet Products Review - ipuppyone soft harnesses for dogs

So my little Charlie is getting bigger.  He enjoys his walks and now likes to explore and play in the grass.  So I figured it was time to upgrade his harness.  My choice this go around was the Air Flex soft harness by ipuppyone.

Ipuppyone_airflex_harness_thumb

The ipuppyone Air-Flex harness features both an adjustable neck and body belt. It is 100% polyester mesh, machine wash and dry, with logo patch on the chest.  I chose this vest because it was incredibly light weight and for the hot summer, has lots of ventilation.  The last vest I had was neoprene and could cause heat around the chest for a hairy dog like mine.

I bought my ipuppyone vest at my local pet store, but you can one online for the same price of $19.95 at ClothingYourPet.com  here is the link for the vest with proper sizing information: http://clothingyourpet.com/catalog/ipuppyone-Air-Flex-Hot-Pink-p-16311.html

Here is my adorable Charlie wearing his ipuppyone vest:  Ipuppyonevestcharlie_thumb

Pet Product Review -PetSak by PuchiBag

Summer is coming to a close, and Vogue's September edition will soon be at our doorstep.  This means its time for fall fashion, get ready! But what's the point of being stylish if you're pup is not trendy and stylish.  Lucky for us there is PetSak by PuchiBag.

Petsak_bluedot_lg_thumb

Can I tell you this bag is wonderful!  Anna Wintour would agree for sure.  First, the patterned design is up to date and great for all seasons.  Next, despite the very sturdy canvas and nylon mesh construction, the bag is very light weight.  Leashes, bones or toys may be adhered to the bag with attached velcro fasteners.

There is enough space for a dog up to 15 lbs to trave with luxurious comfort:

Width: 15"
Depth: 5 1/2"

Height: 10 1/2"

So no more hiding your little pup when you travel.  Strut with style.  In fact, this is the same bag that was featured in movies such as MGM's "Legally Blonde"  and numerous publications (including InStyle, US Weekly, Vogue, Marie Claire and The New York Times).   PuchiBag, think Function, Fashion and Fabulous!!!!
I love the sample that was sent to me and will certain put it to great use.

Order yours today, in fact the PetSak by PuchiBag is on sale for only $89.99 and there is free shipping!  Go to www.puppycratesplus.com or directly to the PetSak web page at http://www.puppycratesplus.com/store-products-Blue-Dot-PetSak-Tote-PetSak-Tote%2C-Blue-Dot_42596293.html

PetSak by PuchiBag is the fall fashion essential.

et Product Review -CNN Airline Pet Policy Comparison Chart

If you travel today by plane you'll know every airline is completely different in their policies and prices, not just for baggage, but for pets too.  Some airlines really do care about pets and their safety, others consider them low priority baggage.  If you're considering travel by plane with your pet this summer you've probably spent hours trying to compare each airline and their costs and policies.

Lucky for us CNN did the job for us.  Look here, its a simple comparison grid that compares airlines and their polices.  I wish I had this earlier.  Of course, this CNN chart is from today July 10th.  Do check back periodically.
