I am so grateful to the people at www.WestCoastPetSupply.com for sending me a 32 oz sample bottle of Natures-Miracle Stain and Odor Remover, because let me tell you with a 15 week old puppy, I clean up accidents all day.  Yet my house does not smell thanks to Natures-Miracle.  How it works?  I have no idea.  But here is some information that I found very helpful from their website:

Natures Miracle Stain and Oder Remover eliminates urine odors and discourages pets from re-soiling in the same area. It returns carpets, floors, upholstery to their original colors and luster. Nature's Miracle can be used on carpets, floors, furniture, clothing, cages, litter boxes, pet living and sleeping areas. It removes stains and odors caused by foods, blood, vomit, urine, feces, grease, dirt, grass, smoke, perspiration and all other organic stains and odors. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, non-caustic and non-acid.

Instructions: Before using, test for color fastness by applying to hidden area and wiping with cloth. Shake well. For odors: saturate with product and allow to dry, which could take up to 2 weeks. For stains: lift off the solid material. Then, saturate. Wait 5 minutes. Wipe with cloth. If stain persists, re-apply and wait 1 hour. Rub with rough towel. On porous surfaces, use brush to work out stains. Prewash: saturate stained odor area. Wash as normal. Carpet cleaning machine: mix 50/50 with cold water.Dog run: mix 50/50 with cold water.Pet living areas, bird cages, litter boxes: use full strength.

Pet Product Review - RESOLVE® Pet Stain Cleaner

My advise for the day: you have a puppy? Then you need RESOLVE® Pet Stain Cleaner.

Resolve_petstains_thumb

Everyone knows that puppies and kittens make little messes and accidents.  That's why you need a bottle of Resolve on hand at all time.  It is great for getting the stains out that are caused by urine, feces and vomit.  But did you know that Resolve also has an odor neutralizer that actually discourages pets from resoling the same area?

Aside from pet stains, it works wonders on unforeseen stains such as when your pup knocks over a glass of red wine.  This happened to me just last week when my friend Patrick came to visit.  Not knowing rule #1 of puppy ownership "never put anything of value or prown to accidents on the floor".   Puppies come out from nowhere like a tornado.  And in this case Patrick put his glass of wine on the floor where it subsequently got knocked over.  I call that a pet accident.

Lucky for me I had RESOLVE® Pet Stain Cleaner.

It did take three sessions of spray cleaning but the wine stains came up and my rug was saved.  I really recommend this product.  You can get lots of information by going to the Resolve website: http://www.powerofresolve.com/index.shtml

I bought my 22 FL. OZ of Resolve Pet Stain Cleaner at Walgreens for $8.49.  You can find it at nearly any quality supermarket.

Pet Products Review - Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine

Well my dog Champ is very sick.  He has a number of complications and we're heading to the specialist this morning.  Unfortunately it seems that he may have a neurological issue.  This scares me.

One of the side affects from his ailment is that he's incredibly dizzy and as a result started to vomit accutely.  Poor pup, he had nothing left in his stomach and that made the matter worse.  So aside from the neurological issues, I asked my vet what is the best food for your dog when they vomit.  She recommended Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine.

Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine

The Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine is specially formulated for a diet that won't aggrevate a pup with gastrointestinal diseases.  I guess you can say its like white rice with a bit of chicken but in a can an perfectly balanced for a dog.

You can find this Hill's product on nearly every online retailer.  Southern Agriculture has it on sale at: http://www.southernagriculture.com/southag/product.asp?dept_id=226&pf_id=PAAAAAOEIHGHLJAP&ad_id=froogle&key_id=37515_HillsPrescriptionDietDogIDFoodCan

Pet Product Review - Spot Shot Instant Carpet Stain Remover

A fact is a fact, if you've got a pet, any pet; you're going to have accidents.  No you can plan them, they come at the least opportune times and yes, they are always unpleasant.  So be prepared.

Every pet household needs a can of Spot Shot Instant Carpet Stain Remover.  Keep in a cupboard, pantry or linen closet for those unforeseen times.  I've used mine on cat hairballs, muddy paw prints, puppy vomit, and the occasional accidental back end slip.  The stuff works, you just spray, and blot till it's clean.  How easy can that be?

Spot Shot is also great on neutralizing odor.
