If you know anything about New Yorkers, you'll know we're all obsessed with food and our pets. So when we find pet friendly spots that statisfy our epicurism we bark about it.
Last Sunday while exploring New York City's historic and beautiful west village, and much in need of an energetic infusion, my Sheltie Champ and I stumbled across Mojo Coffee.
What caught our attention first were the big bowls of ice water to welcome hounds of all sizes. Inside the unique decor of rough hewn wood walls...

Pet Products Review - Tidy Cats Scoop Small Spaces
So imagine this, your friend who lives in a one bedroom apartment in the city with three cats invites you over for dinner. And rather than the welcoming allure of baked bread and savory grilled meats, you smell .... Well you smell cats. What is running in your head are a million and half disgusting thoughts, non of which are appetizing.
Do not let this happen to you! Don't.
If you have cats, especially more than one cat, you owe it to...

Pet Products Review - Cat Cafe
As a single person, community is very important to me. Frequently I turn to others and their experiences. Often our experiences are very coincidental. Just today, I ran out of cat food for my cat and picked up a small bag of a product called Cat Café in a bodega. For those of you not from New York, a bodega is a reasonably (often low) priced neighborhood food store. I figured, let me test it out. Well, my cat did eat the bowl of food I put out for him. In fact...

Pet Products Review - Scatchex
Ok let me tell you about a little style story from my college days. I hung out with very a fashion forward girl who wanted only the very best for her Chow Chow named Penelope. This dog was gorgeous!
Well, to give Penelope that full bodied, bold, volumized look, my friend used Pantene. Poor Penelope suffered from burns and her hair fell out in clumps. It took months before her mane was back to normal. Simply said, human products are not always right for canine...

Pet Product Review - Companion Road Dog Bed with faux Fleece. 24"x30"
Chi Chi loves her bed, she loves that bed! Its crazy, Chi Chi loves her Companion Road bed so much that I've called it here docking station. No matter who is in the room, or what activities ensue, Chi Chi takes notice but then heads back to her bed where she can politely engage in the activities in safe comfort and then take a nap, or nibble on her biscuits when show has shopped.
Chi Chi needs her Companion Road docking...

Pet Products Review - Eureka Capture Vacuum
When it comes to vacuums, Im very particular. They have to work, and work well, and not break down after a few weeks. I just bought the Eureka Capture Upright (bag less) Vacuum. Now I always thought I had clean floors until I got this vacuum and honestly the color of my carpets changed it was that good.
The cyclonic collection weaves all the hair and dirt into a giant nest of filth so cool. I love the fact that you can clean both the filter, and...

Pet Products Review - Fresh Step Litter Crystals
Ok, a fact is a fact, and if you have a cat, you're concerned about odor. Frankly, litter boxes are not pleasant on any level, and with the hundreds of cat litter varieties around, who knows what works on odor and what product your cat reject. So, if you're like me you try them all.
But, one thing is essential with any cat litter you choose and that's to mix in cat litter crystals. I don't know exactly what's in those crystals, they look like...
