Sometimes an act of kindness doesn't go unrewarded. Just read a story about a "rescued" Chinese Crested Powder Puff dog that started making a ruckus late one night in their owners home.
Apparently the little dog was trying to alert his new owner to a fire that was smoldering in a back room of the home.
This story reminds me of how much dogs contribute to human lives. And their incredible sense of smell is just one of the many attributes that have been successfully used in fire detection, as well as for locating explosives, drugs and more recently molds.
In this particular situation, it seems that this little dog was already expressing his thanks for being rescued by giving something back. Find out more about the Chinese Crested....
